Grown for its attractive, fine-textured evergreen leaves and lots of
RED BERRIES in fall and winter.
Plant as a specimen in the garden or at the corners of your home, or
as a formal (trimmed) hedge or an informal (untrimmed) screen.
When
planting as a formal hedge, space plants about 6' apart and expect
plants to grow together in 3-4 years. For informal screening, space
plants 8-10' apart.
Plants mature at 15' or taller by 8' or wider. May easily maintain at
8' by 5' by once-a-year trimming anytime between March and August.
Expect 1-2' growth a year.
Plant in sun to very light shade.
