Grown for its attractive, fine-textured, lacy red foliage and
"weeping" growth habit. Leaves are "double-dissected", giving trees a
"feathery" appearance.
Perfect as a specimen or accent planting in the border or in a large
container on the deck or patio.
Leaves turn brilliant maroon before dropping for Winter.
Weeping growth habit to 4-5' tall and 6-8' wide.
Expect only 4-6" of growth a year.
Plant in a spot which receives a bit of shade from the hottest part of
the afternoon Summer sun.
In more sun, we recommend 'Inabe Shidare' or 'Tamukeyama' Weeping RED
Japanese Maples.
