Weeping Willow

(Salix babylonica)

Useful in the garden as a graceful, large-growing tree used as a single specimen in the lawn or along creeks and ponds.  

Leaves drop in fall and reappear in early spring.

Weeping willows grows very quickly to mature at 40' or more tall and wide. 


Expect 3' or more growth a year.

Plant in sun to very light shade.

All willows have a vigorous root system. 
Plant 100' away from a septic system. 

Plant anywhere if you are on a sewer system.
