Also
known as 'Kleim's Hardy' Gardenia, this plant is grown for its
COLD-HARDINESS (as far north as Southern Ohio!) AND for its 2"
FRAGRANT, single, WHITE flowers it produces in MAY and again in
SEPTEMBER.
'Daisy' is the only gardenia we know of that may be planted in SUN or
SHADE - Its smaller, waxy leaf allows it to thrive in our hot,
afternoon summer sun, while other gardenias have larger leaves that
require shady conditions.
'Daisy' retains its dark green foliage year-round.
'Daisy' matures at only 3-4' tall and wide.
Expect 6-12" of growth a year.
Plant in sun to light shade. Water during dry weather.
